How the planner handles information

RotationLife is designed as a local-first planner. Rotation schedules, leave settings, and personal dates are generally processed in your browser. We don’t save your plan in a server-side database. The link contains the schedule and planning settings needed to recreate it. Anyone with this link can see both schedules and the dates needed to recreate the plan. Names and employers are left out. Share such links only with people you trust, and avoid including sensitive information.

Analytics, hosting and holidays

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate usage. When you submit couple-plan feedback, we count your answer, the example or preset (or custom plan), and whether leave was needed; the feedback fields we send contain no roster dates or personal identifiers. Our hosting provider may process technical connection data for operation and security. When you load public holidays, the selected country and year may be sent to Nager.Date. We do not sell roster data.

Retention and your choices

You can remove locally stored planner information through your browser’s site-data controls. For questions about information processed outside your browser, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, email hello@rotationlife.com.
